Between hikes, river- and lake-bathing, visits to local attractions, the châteaux, the good food, you will be surprised to hear that the charm of the Berry region – especially Southern Boischaut – is not so well known.
Argenton-sur-Creuse is a picturesque little town in the south of Indre, traversed by the Creuse river which gives its fair share of charm. It’s known as the Venice of the Berry region! It’s also located on a branch of the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage trail.
Argenton is located in the heart of France, between Brenne – the land of a thousand pools – and the Valley of the Painters, not to mention the proximity of George Sand country, a little further to the East.
